Despite Madi's rigorous training schedule she continues to succeed academically as well as volunteer in her community. She is an honor student and due to her current academic achievements she was again recently nominated to represent the USA as a Student Ambassador and study abroad in the summer of 2012. Madi also remains active in the community, as she enjoys giving to others. She collects items to donate to the veterans, participates in fundraisers for March of Dimes, Stand Up 2 Cancer and Alzheimer's Association, by not only raising funds but giving personal funds as well as volunteering her time. She spends time sending e-cards to servicemen and women deployed overseas.
Madi is very strong in her faith and is very thankful for the talent that God has blessed her with. She aspires to not only shine on the ice but shine for Jesus! She is a very disciplined, dedicated and determined young lady with an infectious personality. She has a passion for people, life and skating. Madi dreams of competing on the national and international level for Team USA as well as the 2018 Winter Olympics. She hopes to perform in skating shows and become a figure skating coach to pass on her love of skating.
Her parents' desire is for her to be happy and successful in life, stand up for her beliefs, always be true to herself, live for the Lord, help others and strive to make a difference, never stop believin' and dreamin' along the journey to her dreams ... for With God all things are possible!
