Madi is a member of US Figure Skating and the Washington Figure Skating Club, and she trains in the Washington, DC metro area.  She remains focused and works hard in hopes of reaching her dreams.  Madi has been diligently training since January 2011, when she was fully released back to the ice.  Shortly after her return to the ice Madi made a coaching change and when she began working with her new coach she had to go through a transition period of relearning her single jumps, spins and basic skills.   However, with her determination and perseverance, along with a great coach, she has not only transitioned well, but has made remarkable advancement.  Madi enjoys learning more difficult spins and footwork, which has become one of her most favorite elements.  She is currently working on the USFS tests and training for the upcoming competition season where she will be competing at the Juvenile and Intermediate levels.  

Although Madi has been blessed with natural talent, she is a very hardworking, determined,  dedicated and disciplined athlete.  Her love for skating is shown in her work ethic, her beautiful smile and fiery passion on ice and her eagerness to learn and succeed.  Madi dreams of representing Team USA in national and international competitions.  Her ultimate skating dream is to represent Team USA in the 2018 Olympics.
