Madi is a member of US Figure Skating and the Washington Figure Skating Club.  She trains in the Washington, DC metro area and is currently ranked 3rd on the East Coast at the Juvenile level for 2012-2013 season for top scores.  She placed 2nd out of 118 girls at the 2013 US Figure Skating Qualifying South Atlantic Regional Championships in Wake Forest, NC which qualified her for the 2013 US Figure Skating Eastern Sectional Championships in Hyannis, MA where she placed 10th.

Madi remains focused and works hard in hopes of reaching her dreams.  She has been diligently training since January 2011 and enjoys learning more difficult spins and footwork.  Madi loves to jump and is currently working on triples.  Now, at the age of 13, Madi continues to train for the required USFS tests and the upcoming competition season.    

Although Madi has been blessed with natural talent, she is a very hardworking, determined,  dedicated and disciplined athlete.  Her love for skating is shown in her work ethic, her beautiful smile and fiery passion on ice and her eagerness to learn and succeed.  Madi trains so intensely because of her love for the sport and her dreams of representing Team USA in national and international competitions.  Her ultimate skating dream is to represent Team USA in the 2018 Olympics.  Her parents do all that they possibly can to support her dreams and are very proud of her!
